Sometimes it snows in April. At least we didn’t get much today. Just a coating. Not too much to write home about. It makes me wonder if Prince is watching over us when it’s Purple snow? He’s definitely there when it’s raining purple. It's just like the Lochness, it won't be that hard to miss it. I can’t believe his anniversary is coming up. It still feels like a bad nightmare. Is it supposed to be like this? The greats are here for a certain period of time. Then when the clock runs out, they move on? It just doesn't feel like the story shouldn't be told like this. I'm not the one to question a power that's greater than me but I just feel like there's more to be told to this story. Maybe that's the purple rain. You just don't become a memory and move on to the next. The purple rain makes you live forever. On a side note...Years ago, Conan O’Brien was on a quest to find Whitman Mayo. He was the cat that played Grady on Sanford and Son. What we should do is go on a quest to find Apollonia because man, she was fine as hell. I’m guessing she still is, if we find her. Here’s some controversy. Pun intended. A while back, we’re having a family debate about Purple Rain. Ma said that she bought the album when it first came out. My sister said that she bought it. It was kind of a back and forth. I can’t co-sign either. When Purple Rain came out, I was a Similac baby, eating Gerber like it was the last supper but I digress...
